POSITION: Sales Manager
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: General Manager
FLSA STATUS: FT Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Sales of sponsorship programs to local and regional companies including all business categories.
- Develop sponsorship packages and pricing.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and collateral materials.
- Oversee and ensure sponsor fulfillment.
- Work with Venue GM to create annual budgets, including sales forecasts and expenses.
- Assisting clients and internal colleagues to insure effective delivery of expected goals.
- Following up on client requests, concerns and problems.
- Maintaining a positive image with clients, colleagues and industry partners.
- Ensures successful sales activities while maintaining sales goals and objectives.
- Setting up and conducting site visits.
- Responding to inquiries and requests.
- Preparing contracts and other related administrative functions.
- Client Entertainment at events.
- Performing other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to cold call and have the skills to both acquire new accounts and mange existing accounts.
- Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong ability to identify opportunities, develops account strategies, and negotiates creative solutions.
- Proven team player.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
- Ability to travel and work various hours including, nights, weekends and holidays.
