The SMG-managed BOK Center will be highlighted in the July issue of trade publication Venues Today as one of the industry’s “Top Stops” for concerts based on mid-year ticket sales from 10/16/12 through 5/15/13.
The venue finished 25th in the world and 19th in the United States in Venues Today “Top Stops” for venues with a capacity between 15,001 and 30,000. During that time period, the BOK Center hosted many of the most sought-after concerts including Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Justin Bieber, Kid Rock, The Who, Maroon 5, Muse, and Jason Aldean.
“It is amazing that after five years, the BOK Center is stronger than ever. It is thanks to our loyal fans who come out show after show, and promoters who continue to believe in the Tulsa market and the BOK Center,” said SMG General Manager John Bolton.
The O2 Arena (London) finished in the top spot in the world while Madison Square Garden (New York) came in second. The SMG-managed Coliseo de Puerto Rico (San Juan) placed 16th in the world.
