The city of Nampa and the Idaho Center staff are proud to welcome our new partner – The Ford Motor Company and The Treasure Valley Ford Stores. The Ford Idaho Center will be made up of four different venues. The Ford Arena which holds 12,500 people, the Ford Amphitheater, which holds 11,000 people, the Ford Sports Complex and the Ford Idaho Horse Park.

We are very excited about this name and title sponsorship/partnership. Obtaining the naming and usage rights to this visible and vital entertainment center underscores the Ford Motor Company’s commitment to the Treasure Valley region. As we transition toward a more diversified entertainment company, it is essential for us to establish multiple points of contact with our customers and the longtime supporters of the Idaho Center.

Craig Baltzer, General Manager of the Idaho Center, said, “The Ford Motor Company and the local Treasure Valley Ford Stores are an outstanding partner to re-establish and rebrand ourselves going into 2014 and into the future. On behalf of SMG, which manages the Idaho Center, I am very pleased that the new name will be the Ford Idaho Center.” Within the complex will be the Ford Arena, the Ford Amphitheatre and the Ford Idaho Horse Park and Ford Sports complex.

The financial terms of this multi-year deal are for 1 million dollars over 5 years. Ford would like this partnership to be a long term deal and is already working to extend this partnership.
