JOHNSTOWN, PA—August 5— On Wednesday, August 5, 2009, SMG and the Cambria County War Memorial Authority executed a contract for SMG to provide facility management services for the Cambria County War Memorial Arena and the North Central Recreational Center.

“SMG will use all of its facility management resources to bring additional and diverse events to the region, while continuing to serve the anchor tenants and regular users of the facilities.  We look forward to the Community’s continued support as we make Johnstown and Cambria County the place for entertainment and sports in West Central Pennsylvania.” said Wes Westley, President and CEO of SMG.

SMG’s management of the facilities will begin on August 15, 2009.  In addition to day-to-day operations, SMG will handle the marketing, event booking, sales and financial reporting for both facilities.  SMG will be responsible for all ice rentals at the War Memorial Arena and Recreational Center rinks.
